Katharina Amsel graduated in Languages and Business Administration in 2003 and in European Studies in 2007. She gained her first professional experience in counselling and university management at the International Offices of the TU Hamburg-Harburg and the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. In 2008 she moved to the European Project Center, where she worked as an EU Grant Advisor and EU Project Manager from 2009 to 2011 and since 2017 – in this capacity also for the Horizon project FIXIT.

Christian Heite graduated in commercial law in 2007 and 2009 in intellectual property law. He gained his first professional experience as a research and contract manager at the German Institute of Human Nutrition Potsdam-Rehbruecke (DIfE). In 2011 he moved to Dresden to work part-time at the Research Center for Research promotion and Technology Transfer at the Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition Law and Media Law (IGEWeM), and at the European Project Center as an inhouse legal advisor for EU-Projects. Since 2017 he works at the European Project Center full-time.
